Dr Rachael Pillay consults Carindale on Monday morning

Dr Pillay has a special interest in Skin Cancer Medicine and Dermatology. She has worked in plastic surgery at the Mater and Gold Coast University Hospitals. Dr Pillay used to operate a skin cancer surgical list under local anaesthetic once a week at the Mater Hospital and has extensive experience in skin cancer surgery including facial flap and graft reconstructive surgery. She holds a master’s degree from the University of Queensland where her research consisted of developing mice models for the study and treatment of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.

Dr Pillay is a member of the Skin Cancer College and Australian Institute of Dermatology and is happy to see patients for skin checks as well as surgical and non-surgical management of skin cancers.
