Dr Ben consults Wednesdays from 9:30 am to 11:30 am at the Annerley clinic.
Dr. Ben Smith was born and raised in Brisbane, Queensland. He received his medical degree from the prestigious University of Queensland, as well as a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, and later interned at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
His post graduate training in Skin Cancer has consisted of Certificates and Diplomas in both Dermoscopy and Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery. Various other courses for specific surgical techniques have been completed.
He has been in practice over 20 years and is accredited by the Skin Cancer College of Australasia. Whilst in the hospital system Dr. Smith taught junior doctors and currently supervises peers in areas of Skin Cancer Medicine and Dermoscopy.
Dr. Smith practices evidence-based medicine and has always believed the relationship between doctor and patient contributes significantly to the quality of care delivered and received and has built his practice on this fundamental belief.
